LINK methodology: connecting smallholder farmers to markets
Last Updated 30 October 2024
Gertjan Becx, one of the founders of Resilience, is one of the authors of the LINK methodology. He developed it during his time at CIAT, the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, located in Cali, Colombia.
The LINK methodology is mainly directed to facilitators who mediate the processes between sellers and buyers. LINK can be utilized by organizations to (1) facilitate a systematic learning process between actors from a selected value chain, and (2) discover new opportunities for innovation, based on the application of a participatory toolkit.
